An empty sleepVibrations travel through my ears, and retract through my head, rumbling inside of me. The sounds, they touch my heart, and send a quiver, a tremble throughout my body, each muscle with one quick convulse. My body shakes. A nervous, excited feeling bursts in my stomach, and my lips, they sting. And my eyes, they water. And my ears continue to hear the sounds of your voice. I am shaken, and taken aback to what was, and what could have been. I sigh, and taste the warm breath on my tongue, and feel the emptying of my chest. And I close my eyes, and turn my head. And my body drops, my inside are burning, every inch of me, every part of my being is hurt. I hit the ground, the lowest I have become. And I am hurt, and burning, and my skin feels like its seen a thousand years, and my eyes, they are wet, and heavy. And my lips, they are raw, and my tongue, it tastes nothing. And I exhale, and I exhale, and exhale, and I am empty. And I sleep. And Im empty. And I sleep. And Im empty.
